David is Chief Executive of the Studio Schools Trust. He is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Studio Schools Trust.

David has held a number of posts within the not-for-profit sector, most recently as Chief Executive of the Wise Group, an organisation that works with public, private, voluntary and community partners to offer training and development opportunities for unemployed people.

Prior to this David was responsible for European funding at both the Wise Group, and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations. David has also held posts in IBM, the General & Municipal Workers Union, the Royal Air Force, and the Trustees Savings Bank.
