Zarlasht is a Studio Schools Development Officer. Her responsibilities include supporting the development and delivery of the Oldham and Luton Studio Schools.

Prior to joining the Studio Schools Trust, Zarlasht worked as a project developer at the Young Foundation as part of the Learning Launchpad team. In her role, she designed and implemented practical projects to address unemployment in East London. One of these projects was Fastlaners, an intensive training initiative that helps graduates find employment. Most recently she worked on a project called Faking It. Based on the TV show, the project aimed to help unemployed young people into jobs by providing an opportunity to learn a new skill through a two-week intensive training programme.

Previously Zarlasht has worked for a number of organisations including Demos, New Internationalist and Afghanaid. Zarlasht co-founded Logicalnoise Records, a record label founded to give artists more freedom over their work and e-noise.com, a company specialising in developing open-source applications.
