Outstanding results for Sir Frank Whittle!

It is with immense pride that SFW can announce formally the outstanding results students achieved in their exams in August 2016.

The progress made by students since they joined Sir Frank Whittle is phenomenal and is testament to the hard work from all of the staff and students at the School.

The new measure for GCSE Results is Progress 8 which measures the progress students make from starting Year 7 to the end of Year 11.  This is a particular challenge for SFW as the school doesn't see students for 3 years of this journey.

"I couldn't be more proud as a Headteacher than I am today with the official publication of our results.  The hard work and dedication of everyone to achieve these results can't be underestimated.  It really does show the outstanding level of education students receive at Sir Frank Whittle.

To be in the top 1% of schools nationally for student progress in Mathematics is phenomenal.

Well done everyone!".
