Blackpool Studio

With one of the most famous coastlines in the country, Blackpool has been a favourite British tourist destination for over a century.

However, the emergence of an increasingly globalised service economy has brought with it new challenges for the town. In response to this Blackpool Council has joined forces with businesses and wider partners to lead on the development and delivery of the unique Blackpool Studio.

Based in the heart of Blackpool, the new Studio will look and feel like a business rather than a school. It will provide Blackpool's young people with the opportunity to participate in practical multi-disciplinary learning and take part in paid work experience in their local area.

The Blackpool Studio will help equip young people from across the town with the skills and experience they need to succeed in life and work.
