Luton Studio School

Barnfield Further Education College in Luton is at the forefront of innovation in the British education system. It was the first college in the country to be awarded Beacon status for excellence in teaching and learning.

The college is working in partnership with a number of partners including Luton Borough Council to develop the unique Luton Studio School. With an innovative approach to practical learning, it will provide a radical alternative to traditional teaching that could make a real difference to the lives of young people across Luton.

Utlilising the strong relationships that already exist between the college and key local employers, the Studio School students will participate in paid work experience in their local area. This will help them develop the skills and experience they need to become active and successful members of their local community.
