Fulham Enterprise Studio

Fulham Enterprise Studio opened in September 2012 on the site of the former City Learning Centre, Kingwood Road, Fulham. Fulham Enterprise Studio is the first in inner London to offer this exciting new mainstream education option.

The Studio welcomes boys and girls aged 14-19 looking to go on to further education or employment in General Construction or Performing Arts (Production).

Students aged 14-16 study the National Curriculum, working towards a minimum of five GCSEs, including English, Maths and Science as well as a BTEC in Business Studies. In addition, learners are able to choose a specialist option subject, guided by their personal coach, and can work towards the EBacc.

Students aged 16+ are be able to study for BTEC level 3 and ‘A’ Level subjects relevant to General Construction and Performing Arts (Production).

An on-site partnership with the charity Age UK Hammersmith means that from early on, students will be able to secure work experience in a business and out of school environments including:

  • Reception, business, admin and finance
  • Product development, marketing and retail
  • Handyperson scheme supporting older people in their homes

In addition, there is a FES production house, run as a business by the students, which puts on several performances a year.

Extra-curricular activities on offer include the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
